Ben Weiss is a Mechatronics Engineer interested in building novel solutions to climate challenges using robotics and embedded systems. He is a first year in the MAS program in the Media Lab at MIT, studying under Joseph Paradiso in the Responsive Environments group. Previously, he worked at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) where he developed tools for oceanographic research.

His areas of interest include: embedded systems, robotics, soil ecology, renewables, agriculture and oceanography.

Beyond work, he's always eager to chat about growing/cooking/eating food + ceramics
